In this week's call with Professor Andrew Reiner, we delve into our social conditioning. How is the construct of masculinity holding us back from meaningful relationships? “It’s how we talk, and don’t talk to boys, that is really the beginning of the problem,” Reiner tells us.

Andrew Reiner teaches at Towson University where he offers the seminar The Changing Face of Masculinity. He is the author of Better Boys, Better Men: The New Masculinity That Creates Greater Courage and Emotional Resiliency (HarperOne Books, 2020) and has written about healthy masculinity extensively for the New York Times, as well as for the Washington Post. He has been interviewed about contemporary masculinity during appearances on PBS NewsHour, CNN with Christiane Amanpour and Australia's Today Show. Reiner lives with his family near Frederick, MD. The most transformative experiences of his life: getting married and becoming father to a son.
